Cookie Policy

Last updated: 27 October 2026

This page states what the Helix Clinic website stores in your browser. At the date below the answer is: nothing.

Requirement

Cookies and similar storage that are not strictly needed should be set only with a visitor's informed choice.

In practice

This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser, so there is no choice to ask for and no banner.

1. What the site does

2. What the statements cover

These are statements about the code of the pages, not about what a browser, an extension you installed or a network provider may add on its own. Extensions that translate pages, block advertising or change fonts can store things of their own, and those are governed by their own policies rather than by this one. If a page behaves oddly after you have used such a tool, try it with the tool switched off before drawing conclusions about the site.

3. How you can check

You do not have to take this page's word for it. In a desktop browser, open the developer tools, choose the Application or Storage tab and look at Cookies and Local Storage for helix-clinic.com: both lists should be empty after you have clicked around the site. The Network tab shows every file the page loads, and all of them should come from this domain. If you ever find otherwise, please write to info@helix-clinic.com; it would be a mistake and the page would be corrected.

4. The mobile menu and other small scripts

A short script on each page opens and closes the menu on small screens and updates its accessibility state. It reads and writes nothing outside the page and does not remember anything between visits.

5. Server logs

The company that hosts the pages will usually keep technical logs of requests, such as the address of the page asked for and the time. These are part of how the web works rather than part of the site's code, and they are kept by the hosting provider. The operator of Helix Clinic does not use them to follow individual visitors. The privacy policy describes what happens to information you send on purpose.

6. Your browser

Your browser keeps its own cache of the files it has downloaded, which makes pages open faster on a repeat visit. That cache belongs to your browser, can be cleared from its settings at any time, and is not a cookie set by this site.

7. Links that leave the site

Some pages point to public sources, such as the government's e-Gov law search. Once you follow such a link you are on another site, which may set cookies of its own under its own policy.

8. If this changes

Should the site ever add an analytics tool, a form service or any other component that sets cookies or loads files from another company, a consent choice will be added before it takes effect, and this page and the privacy policy will be rewritten to say exactly what is used. Until that day the statements above describe the pages as they are.

9. Outside transmission and Japanese rules

Japanese rules on the Telecommunications Business Act ask certain website operators to tell users when their browsers send information about them to outside parties, for example to an advertising or analytics company. This site makes no such transmissions, so there is nothing to announce, and the design keeps it that way on purpose: fewer moving parts means fewer promises that could turn out to be wrong. The privacy policy covers what happens to the information you hand over yourself, which is a separate matter from what a browser does in the background.

10. Why a page about nothing

A cookie page is expected on a business site, and an honest one is short when the answer is none. It also records, for a company that reads the Companies Act for a living, the same habit the rest of the site tries to teach: say what is true, and keep it where somebody can find it later.
