Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 October 2026

This policy describes how the operator of Helix Clinic handles personal information that reaches the office, in keeping with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information.

Requirement

Personal information may be collected only for a stated purpose, kept no longer than that purpose needs, and protected while it is held (Act on the Protection of Personal Information, the APPI).

In practice

This site collects nothing on its own. What reaches the office is what you choose to send by e-mail, telephone or the contact form, and it is used to answer you.

1. Who handles the information

The information described here is handled by the operator of Helix Clinic, at 1-6-7 Higashihoncho, Ota, Gunma 373-0026, Japan. The operator is not named on this site; the name and any registration details are given on request, and in the commercial notice. Questions about this policy go to info@helix-clinic.com or +81 276-67-5428.

2. What reaches the office

3. What the site itself collects

The pages of this site do not set cookies, do not write to your browser's local storage and do not load scripts, fonts, images or maps from other companies. There is no analytics tool and there are no advertising tags. The cookie page explains how this can be checked in your own browser. Like any web host, the company that serves the pages may keep ordinary server access logs; the operator does not use them to identify visitors.

4. Why the information is used

The information is not used for advertising, is not sold, and is not used for a purpose unrelated to the above without asking you first (APPI Art. 17 and Art. 18).

5. Who else may see it

Messages travel through the operator's e-mail and telephone providers, who handle them only to carry them. The operator does not hand personal information to other companies for their own use. Information is shared with a third party only with your consent, or where the law requires it, for example in response to a lawful order. If a service provider that stores messages turns out to keep them outside Japan, this page will be updated to say which country, as the rules on cross-border transfer (APPI Art. 28) require.

6. How long it is kept

A message that does not lead to an engagement is kept only as long as it takes to answer it and to deal with any follow-up question, and is then deleted. Records of a delivered note, including the written confirmation of fee, are kept for as long as accounting and tax rules require. Documents you send for a note are used for that note and are not reused for anything else.

7. Keeping it safe

8. Your rights

You may ask what personal information the operator holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, for its use to be stopped, or for it to be deleted (APPI Arts. 33 to 35). Write to the e-mail address above and say which message or document you mean. The operator will ask you to confirm your identity first, so that information does not reach someone else, and will answer within a reasonable time.

9. Information about other people

The notes concern companies, but company papers contain people: shareholders, directors, auditors. If you send such papers, you are responsible for having the right to share them for this purpose. A note can usually be prepared from the clauses of the articles alone, and a register can be sent with names blanked out.

10. Children

The notes are written for people who run or advise companies. The site is not directed at children, and the operator does not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of majority.

11. Links to other sites

The site links to public sources such as the government's e-Gov law search. Those sites have their own privacy rules, which the operator does not control and does not describe here.

12. Changes to this policy

If the way information is handled changes, for example if a form service is connected to the contact form or an analytics tool is added, this page is updated first and the date at the top is changed. Anything that would need your consent is asked for before it starts.
