Terms of Service
Last updated: 27 October 2026
These terms describe how you may use the Helix Clinic website. They apply to browsing and to sending a message, and they are separate from the terms for a paid note.
Requirement
A website's terms should say who runs it, what it is for, and where its content stops being reliable.
In practice
Helix Clinic publishes general information on Companies Act procedure. It is a reading aid, and the statute and a qualified professional come first.
1. The operator
This website is operated by the operator of Helix Clinic, at 1-6-7 Higashihoncho, Ota, Gunma 373-0026, Japan. The operator's name and registration details are given on request and in the commercial notice. By using the site you accept these terms; if you do not accept them, please do not use it.
2. What the site is, and what it is not
- The site gives general information about procedure under the Companies Act of Japan and describes three paid written notes.
- It is not legal advice, and no page is an opinion on any particular company.
- Helix Clinic is not a law firm, and nobody on the site is presented as a lawyer, a judicial scrivener or an administrative scrivener.
- Despite the word in its name, Helix Clinic is not a medical clinic. The site has no medical or health content and cannot answer medical questions.
3. Accuracy and currency
The pages are written with care and cite the articles they rely on, but statutes are amended, courts interpret them, and every company's articles differ. A page can be out of date or incomplete for your case. Read the current text on e-Gov, read your own articles, and ask a lawyer or judicial scrivener before you act on a question that matters. The date at the top of a page is the date it was last reviewed, not a promise that nothing has changed since.
4. Using the site
- You may read the pages, link to them and print them for your own company's use.
- Please do not copy the text or layout for another website, or republish it commercially, without written permission.
- Please do not try to disrupt the site, scrape it at a rate that burdens it, or use the contact form to send anything unlawful or untrue.
- No account or login is needed, and none is offered.
5. The contact form and messages
The form carries the same fields as an e-mail to the office. Sending a message does not create a contract and does not start a paid engagement. An engagement begins only when scope and fee have been confirmed in writing, on the terms in the terms and conditions. Please keep confidential documents and other people's personal data out of a first message.
6. Pictures
The photographs on the site are stock illustrations of people in offices. They do not show the operator, any staff member, any client or any real matter, and no person in a photograph is being presented as a professional of any kind.
7. Intellectual property
- The text and layout of the site belong to the operator unless a page says otherwise.
- Blank outlines delivered with a paid note are licensed to the client for use inside the client's own company.
- Statute names and article numbers are public information and are not claimed.
8. Links to other sites
Links to public sources are offered for convenience. The operator does not control those sites and is not responsible for their content or their availability.
9. Availability
The site is provided as it is. The operator tries to keep it available but does not promise uninterrupted access, and pages may be changed or removed without notice.
10. Limits of responsibility
To the extent the law allows, the operator is not responsible for loss that follows from relying on a page of this site in place of professional advice. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility for intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or any right that cannot be limited by contract under Japanese law.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Disputes about the use of the site are for the courts of Japan, with the court having jurisdiction over the operator's address in Ota, Gunma as the court of first instance, unless a mandatory rule provides otherwise.
12. Changes
The terms may be updated. The date at the top shows the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept the new version.
